Where Can I Find You?
St. Francis is located in a neighborhood eight blocks north of South Loop 323 at 3232 Jan Avenue.  The parking lot entrance will be on your right coming north off loop 323.

Is There a Nursery for My Children?
Yes, St. Francis provides nursery care each Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  for children under 5 years of age. Parents usually drop off their children before the service and sometimes pick them up before communion.  Parents are always welcome to visit or stay with their children in the nursery as well.  Our nursery has a special emphasis on making it an inviting and safe environment. We are pleased to have loving and experienced caregivers in charge of our nursery every Sunday. It is located in our Education Building.  Please ask for assistance in finding it.

Is There Sunday School for My Children?
Yes, Sunday School for children and youth is held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Education Building.  In addition to Sunday School, we also have Children's Chapel during the 10:45 am service.    At the beginning of the service the Priest will ask the children to come forward and will give them a blessing and say a prayer for them, before dismissing them to go to Children's Chapel.    They return at the passing of the Peace to join their families for Eucharist.  We hope your children will join us.

Is There a Dress Code?
No. We want you to be comfortable in God's House.  You will see everything from jeans to sport coats and dresses.

How Do I Join St. Francis?
Whether you're new or have been visiting for a while, if you've decided you want to declare yourself an "official" member of St. Francis, we're ready to welcome you.  If you are a confirmed Episcopalian, you may request a Canonical Letter of Transfer from your former parish. Please call the church office at 903-593-8459 and we will send the request for you.  If you are not a Christian yet, you will need to be prepared to be baptized.  If you are not an Episcopalian and wish to become one, you must receive instruction and then be confirmed in the Episcopal Church.   Please contact the Rev. Mitch Tollett for further information.   He will be happy to answer any questions you have and help you through this process.
