Charles Andrew Doyle (Andy) was elected bishop coadjutor of the Diocese of Texas on May 24, 2008 and was consecrated on November 22, 2008 at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Houston. He was seated as the ninth Bishop of Texas on June 7, 2009 at Christ Church Cathedral, Houston, following the retirement of the Rt. Rev. Don Wimberly.

Bishop High is the Regional Bishop of the East Region of the Diocese. He is the Executive for Pastoral Ministries. He oversees pastoral and administrative needs in the East Region. He oversees the Renewal Division (Armed Forces, Beginning Experience, Cursillo, Faith Alive, Kairos, Marriage Encounter, Vocarè), Wider Ministries (Ecumenical and Interchurch), Prison Ministry and Criminal Justice. In addition, he is responsible for pastoral care for clergy and their families. The Tyler office is located at All Saints' School.

Bishop Harrison is the Regional Bishop for the West Region, having pastoral oversight of congregations in the Austin, Central, Southwest, and Northwest convocations. As Executive for Ministry, she oversees the Commission on Ministry, Diocesan Camps, Diocesan Single Adults, World Mission and Campus Ministries. She is the Bishop’s Liaison to St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System, St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, The Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest, and El Buen Samaritano. The Austin office is located on the campus of the Seminary of the Southwest.

Father Bob De Wolfe retired earlier this year. His last position was vicar of St. Margaret's Church, San Antonio. In 1998 he received his doctorate from the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Following ordination, his assignments were all within the Diocese of West Texas: Founding Vicar, St. Andrew's Church, Corpus Christi; Vicar, Holy Comforter Church, Sinton; Vicar, Church of our Savior, Aransas Pass; Vicar St. Christopher's-by-the-Sea, Portland; Rector, Trinity Church, Pharr, and First Canon Missioner of the Diocese.

During Ron’s time at Saint Francis, he has served as Senior Acolyte, Eucharistic Minister, Reader, and Usher.  He has taught both Confirmation classes and a short course on the History of the Church.  Ron is a Professed Teriatary of the Society of Saint Francis-Third Order, American Province, and a Lay Chaplain in the Community of Hope.  He has served as a spiritual director for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of their faith.  Ron has studied Theology and Church history through the distance learning program at St. Andrew’s Theological College & Seminary in Lexington, Virginia.

Ron is the co-owner and clinical director of Tyler Counseling & Assessment Center, LLP.  He completed a Master of Science in Clinical Neuropsychology in 1991 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology.  He has worked in private practice and as a consultant to area school districts and Head Start for 15 years.

Cathy Nye moved to Tyler in 2007 from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she has worked as church secretary in two other congregations. She likes to knit, sew, read and garden as well.  Much of her time, though, is taken up with caring for her large menagerie.  She has 7 cats, 7 dogs, 2 draft horses, 1 mini donkey, 3 goats, 2 finches, 1 parakeet, chickens, some tropical fish inside and some “koi-like” fish outside.

I have been an Episcopalian for as long as I can remember. I couldn’t imagine being anything else.  I love the liturgy, and the way that Episcopalians are so inclusive, teaching that we are all loved by God.

Galen Hays is a Certified Public Accountant who practiced in the North Dallas-Addison area for thirty years prior to his retirement. In addition to owning his accounting practice, he has had various other business interests. He has served on several boards, including representing the Town of Addison on the Metrocrest Youth and Family Social Services Council.

At St. Francis he serves as an usher and greeter.

Pam Renner is a writing consultant who works with writers of book-length fiction and nonfiction. Prior to her twenty-five years as a consultant, she taught junior high students, worked for a publishing company, and taught at Brookhaven College in Dallas. At St. Francis she is a greeter, a worship reader, a member of Daughters of the King and the Pastoral Care Committee.

Gipsy earned the master’s degree in education from East Texas State University (now, Texas A&M University-Commerce).  Subsequently, she was an upper elementary and middle school math and science teacher in Texarkana, Dallas, and Hawkins.  Gipsy is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the international education sorority, and the Retired Teachers of Smith County. Gipsy moved from Topeka, Kansas to Hawkins, where they lived for 24 years .

Mairi Krausse became an Episcopalian and was confirmed in 1999. She has been very active in the church in her former location of Michigan, and in this one. She was active in the choir, the Bazaar Babes, and second in line for Church Secretary in Michigan. After she moved to Texas, she became Lay Eucharistic Visitor, Outreach Committee member, Bible Study Group participant, Dream Group participant, and Vestry Clerk. Mairi also keeps St. Francis' website updated and the St. Francis Journal published every month. Mairi had a stroke in February 2010, but is back to work now.
