The Episcopal Church

The Episcopal Church is a member of the worldwide
Anglican Communion, with 70 million members in 163 countries.  We are bound together by our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that the Bible contains the core of all Christian faith.

We believe there is one God who creates all things, redeems us from sin and death and renews us as the Children of God.  We believe that God loves all people and that he yearns for us to return that love.

Our focus in the Episcopal Church is on learning to love God and to love one another as Christ Loves us.  We promise to follow Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord and believe that God is at work in the world protecting, healing, comforting, and empowering us for life as his people.
