| Ministry Through Worship |
|
St. Francis offers many opportunities for involvement through worship ministries. Ministers of worship help the clergy prepare for and lead worship services. These worship ministries include:
|
| St. Francis Family Support Ministry |
| The St. Francis Family Support Ministry provides care in times of special need. Participants in this ministry help other members of the St. Francis family by providing food or picking up medication for those who are ill, who have had a death in the family, or who are celebrating the birth of a child. |
| Pastoral Care |
|
Pastoral Care offers many ways for parishioners to show their caring concern to their fellow parishioners. We are One Body in Christ. · Lay Eucharist Visitors take consecrated elements to homebound and sick members so that they may join in the communion. · Lay Pastoral Visits – regular visits by St. Francis parishioners to those who are homebound, in nursing homes or in the hospital · Meals with Love – a ministry to provide a meal to those families who have experienced a stress in their lives, such as the birth of a child, the death of a family member or a stay in the hospital · Volunteers from the parish provide support to parishioners unable to drive by taking them to church or to the doctor, or by picking up medication |
| Serendipity Suppers |
| Each month, one family in the parish opens their home to members of the church family for a fellowship meal. |
